Specially at 0,40 and 2.00 .. Those are the parts i really like .. but the whole track is utter Italo brilliance !.

Candy - Catch Me (Italo-Disco 1987).

Just discovered this (rare) track a few weeks ago and i Love it !.
(you do have to listen to the whole track to know what i mean though).
If you're into "The Flirts" and "Bobby-O" stuff, give this a listen ..
(it sounds like it has a sample from 'Passion' in it).
Anyway: it catched me big-time for sure, what a great track !.

Roni Griffith - Desire (1982) (New HQ Satellite Rip).

Today i recorded this video 'fresh' from satellite straight to my Pc in High-Quality ..
The German (satellite) Tv channel 'Eins Festival' are repeating all the 'Bananas' shows from the (early) 80's, and that's where this video came from in the first place...
There are some real (disco) gems in these shows ...
And what a Deja-Vu this Roni Griffith video was ... as i was the first person to post this video on the internet about 7 or 8 years ago (converted from an old 1982 Vhs tape i recorded at the time), and the video has been circulating on the internet ever since.
Anyway: today this track was on the airwaves once again on satellite in Hi-Quality and off course i had to record it once again after 27 years :-).
Till this very day it's still one of my favorite Disco (Bobby-O) (Bobby Orlando) tracks ..
So i hope you'll enjoy today's 'comeback' of Roni Griffith to the video-airwaves as much as i did.
Now in High Quality off course ..
(Hurray for the German Satellite channels that repeat these 70s and 80s shows on a weekly basis !!).

Azoto - San Salvador (Dutch Tv 1980).

Here's one of my favorite Disco acts from Italy .. can't really call it 'Italo-Disco' because it didn't have that name yet in 1980.
Azoto released 3 album's between 1978 and 1980, the first album 'Dance Skinsation' being credited to "Lucrethia And The Azoto 14,008" which contained the great (12") single "It's The Way". After that album they shortened the name to 'Azoto' and went on to release 'Music Makers Ltd' with 'Havah Nagilah' being the 12" released from it. But their biggest moment was yet to come with the (late) 1979/1980 release of the "Disco Fizz" album. The single 'San Salvador' immediately made a huge impact in disco's all over the world and the 7" version charted in a lot of countries. After a few more single releases from the album we never heard from Azoto again i'm sad to say... Videofootage from this (mostly studio) act is very rare and this clip may be the only time you'll ever get to see them .. off course Dutch chart-tv show 'Toppop' was once again the only show i know of to get them in the studio ..
